About him. About her. About the person they\u2019re becoming.<br>And that\u2019s when you hear it:<br><strong>\u201cI don\u2019t want kids\u2019 glasses anymore.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc53 <strong>Glasses as part of identity<\/strong><br>In childhood, glasses are usually chosen by parents: durability, practicality, maybe a splash of color.<br>But around 12 or 13, things change.<br>The body changes. The mind changes. The way a young person sees themselves changes.<br>And glasses take on a new role: no longer just a medical device, but part of their identity.<br>A calling card.<br>A way of saying to the world:<br>\u201cLook at me. Opticians are usually left with two extremes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>\ud83d\udc76 Kids\u2019 glasses: too colorful, childish, not right for their new identity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83e\uddd3 Adult glasses: oversized, out of place, not made for young faces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And those in between?<br>Those who are still shaping their identity, caught between two worlds?<br>They\u2019re often left without options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udde0 <strong>The optician\u2019s (and parent\u2019s) role is crucial<\/strong><br>At this stage, the optician is more than just a technician: they become a key figure in shaping self-image.<br>A skilled, up-to-date and empathetic optician can turn a potential crisis into a growth moment.<br>They can listen, understand, and guide with empathy toward the right choice.<br>But something more is needed:<br>\u2714\ufe0f A collection designed specifically for teens<br>\u2714\ufe0f Communication that includes real listening<br>\u2714\ufe0f The ability to offer a respectful, non-condescending alternative<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents, too, need to strike a balance between functionality and their child\u2019s genuine desire to express themselves through what they wear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfaf <strong>What do teens really want?<\/strong><br>They don\u2019t want \u201cadult\u201d glasses. They want glasses that fit <em>this stage of life<\/em>.<br>Frames with a mature style, but designed for them:<br>for features still developing, for a dynamic lifestyle, for their craving for freedom and authenticity.<br>And this demand shouldn\u2019t be ignored\u2014it\u2019s also a big opportunity for forward-thinking opticians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2728 <strong>The teen segment isn\u2019t \u201cjust transitional\u201d. It\u2019s a real opportunity.<\/strong><br>Too often, teenagers are seen as \u201cin-between customers.\u201d<br>But winning them over now\u2014with the right product and a positive experience\u2014can create loyalty for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investing in this age group means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Building trust with the whole family<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offering a real and under-served alternative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standing out from those who only offer compromises<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2764\ufe0f <strong>A fresh vision for a new generation<\/strong><br>We believe teenagers deserve frames that make them feel represented.<br>Not treated like children.<br>Not forced to look like adults.<br>But seen, heard, respected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The right glasses for a teenager say: <em>\u201cYou\u2019re exactly where you should be.
